(Windy) Temple Day

Today I went through the Kansas City Temple to receive my endowments. Endowments are special blessings given to those who are worthy. It is a little overwhelming but looking back I know I felt the spirit and it was good and right.

I got up at 6:45am to get ready then left at 8:30 and drove for 3 hours. I was in the temple for about 3 hours. It was long and I was tired. We walked outside and this happened....

 We got a couple pictures and then went to Mimi's Cafe. Not my fav, the waitress kept forgetting things. Another 3 hours on the road then drop Julie off, pick this brother up, then pick this sister up. It was a long night to say the least...

Anyone who is considering going to the temple need not worry, there are so many people to help you. We are all just learning and need to take it step by step.

I am thankful for the blessings of the temple and will work to keep the promises I made inside.
